Although most cities in China don't need to worry about the electricity shortage, high electricity bills are still a headache for the government. Generally speaking, a 1 km road needs to install 110 sets of street lights. This is a big consumption.

So many cities have begun to try to install solar street lights on empty main roads.

This has several advantages:

1. No need to dig trenches, no need for cables or electrical cabinets, saving 40% construction time and 80% installation costs;

2. One-time investment, no need to pay electricity bills monthly.

3. Lights operate the same day they are installed, without complicated debugging.

4. No danger of electricity leakage.

In these circumstances, we participated in the solar street light project in Yueyang City. There are no tall buildings on both sides of the road, and the sun is not blocked, so it is suitable for installing solar street lights. In the end, we successfully installed 420 sets of solar street lights on this road.
